Cue is a macOS video player for people who keep films and episodes as files. Drag a movie in, pick the audio track, skip by chapters, loop a scene, or pop the picture out. The display stays awake while something is playing. Reopening the same file resumes where you stopped. Volume, speed, and picture settings are remembered per file. Now Playing and headphone buttons work as on the rest of the Mac.

Playback goes through an embedded LGPL build of libmpv, so common local containers open without a separate convert step. Cue is not a streaming app and not a store: there is no catalog and no subscription.
